Choosing the right Prom theme and location

Usually at the beginning of the school year, there is a prom committee that is formed and they initally choose the date and location. Since this is usually the "party of the year", it should sometimes be booked 16 to 18 months in advance. You should look at the capacity of the venue to hold a large band as well as its sound capability. Adequate parking is essential, also. Some places will actually offer to provide the food, security and decorations so it is worthwhile checking into various places. Find out exactly what their price includes and get it in writing.
